- 4 thick slices bread (sourdough or whole grain)
- 8 strips bacon
- 1 large avocado, sliced
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
- 4 large lettuce leaves (romaine or butter lettuce)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the bacon strips in the skillet until crispy, about 6 to 8 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate.
- Toast the bread slices until golden and firm.
- Spread mayonnaise evenly over each slice of toasted bread.
- Layer lettuce leaves on top of the mayonnaise.
- Add sliced tomatoes evenly over the lettuce.
- Place two strips of crispy bacon on each toast.
- Top with sliced avocado.
- Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the top and serve immediately.

- Pat tomato slices dry to prevent soggy toast.
