Description

  • 2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix crushed vanilla wafers with melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.
  3. Bake crust for 8–10 minutes, then cool completely.
  4. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing gently.
  5. Fold in mashed bananas, vanilla extract, and prepared banana pudding (made with milk).
  6. Pour the mixture over the cooled crust and bake for 30–35 minutes until set in the center.
  7. Cool completely, then spread whipped topping on top and sprinkle with crushed wafers.
  8. Chill for at least 4 hours before slicing into squares and serving.
