Ingredients

- 700 g beef stew meat
- 500 g fresh okra
- 1 large onion
- 4 garlic cloves
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 400 g crushed tomatoes
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pot and sauté onion until soft.
- Add garlic and tomato paste and stir until fragrant.
- Add beef, salt, pepper, and coriander, stirring well.
- Add crushed tomatoes and water, cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Add okra and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning and serve hot.

- Dry the okra well before cooking.
- Simmer gently for best texture.
