Description

Tender baked mahi mahi fillets topped with a silky lemon butter sauce and fresh parsley. A light, flavorful seafood dinner that comes together in just 25 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 mahi mahi fillets, about 6 ounces each
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  2. Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat, then stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and minced garlic. Remove from heat.
  3. Place mahi mahi fillets in the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
  4. Season fillets with salt and black pepper, then pour the lemon butter mixture evenly over the top.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque throughout.
  6. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the fillets and spoon extra sauce from the dish on top before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh lemon juice for the brightest flavor.
  • Check the fish at 12 minutes to avoid overcooking.
  • Serve extra sauce over rice or vegetables for added flavor.
