- 2 thick slices bread, toasted
- 1 large ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes, optional
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- Mash the avocado in a bowl with lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until smooth but slightly chunky.
- Lightly grease two small ramekins and add 1 tablespoon of water to each. Crack one egg into each ramekin.
- Toast the bread slices until golden and crisp.
- Place the ramekins in the air fryer and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, depending on desired yolk consistency.
- Spread the avocado smash evenly over each slice of toast.
- Carefully remove the eggs from the ramekins and place one on each toast.
- Sprinkle with red chili flakes if desired and serve immediately.
