Crispy Air-Fryer Mozzarella Balls with golden breadcrumb coating and gooey melted cheese inside, easy and perfect for snacking.
Ingredients

- 16 ounces mozzarella balls, drained
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups Italian style breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Light cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and mix breadcrumbs with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a third bowl.
- Roll mozzarella in flour, dip in egg, coat in breadcrumbs. Repeat egg and breadcrumb coating for double layer.
- Freeze coated mozzarella balls for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Arrange in air fryer basket in single layer and spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 6 to 8 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Cool briefly and serve warm.
Notes
- Freeze before cooking to prevent cheese leaking.
- Do not overcrowd basket.
- Double coat for best crunch.
- Serve immediately for best texture.
